The AAIU is prohibited in law from disclosure of specific records relating to investigations undertaken. Validated factual information may be released through a Preliminary Report and/or an Interim Report, prior to publication of the Final Report, once it does not compromise the objectives of the safety investigation. The AAIU will not speculate about any aspect of an investigation. Nor will the AAIU offer any analysis or opinion about the probable cause until the entire investigative process is complete and the Final Report is published.
